It was a challenging experience.

The project faced significant pushback on density, resulting in a reduction to around 90 units. Despite the difficulties, the land has been successfully sold to KB Home.

Summerhaven is a SFR community that was approved. It went before Council to receive a variance for a new entrance to the subdivision.

Council agreed that there should be a benefit for residents or the city before making changes.

His request was denied and the original 2020 approval stood.

McKay Land, LLC, which is affiliated with McKay Books, plans to build a 35,000 square foot bookstore.

The new store will be built on the interstate and it is expected to be a positive addition to the community. The store specializes in used books and games.
